Overview

NAPCHKR, operated by Sonoran Strategy Solutions, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), is a business listing checker at napchkr.com. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use NAPCHKR, you enter a business name, and optionally its website and location. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the tool.

Businesses You Check

We log each check to a Cloudflare D1 database. The log includes: a random ID that links the steps of one check; the business name, location, and website domain you entered; the date and time of the check; your browser and device type (such as “Chrome” and “Desktop”); your referring website; whether the check came from the NAPCHKR page or another program; and high-level result metadata: how many matching businesses we suggested and whether you picked one, the type of business, which directory served as the reference listing, which directories found the business and whether each listing matched, the number of mismatches found, how long the check took, how many times a directory search was retried, and short codes for any errors from the directories we query. This data is used for usage monitoring and service improvement. We do not connect this data to individual users or personal information.

To run a check, our servers send the business name and location you enter to the directory services listed below, which return their listings for that business. The website you enter is only compared with those listings and is not sent to them. We do not store the listing details the directories return, such as names, addresses, and phone numbers, only the high-level result metadata described above.

If you answer “Was this check helpful?” after a check, we store your rating, and any comment you choose to add, with that check’s log entry. Please don’t include personal information in a comment. We also send our product analytics tool (PostHog) a few events about it, each with the check’s ID: your rating, the length of any comment, whether you closed the question without answering, and whether you clicked the link to Sonoran Strategy. The text of your comment is never sent to it.

Automatically Collected Information

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and analytics tools process standard web traffic data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and referring websites. IP addresses are used for geolocation and security purposes by these services but are not stored by us or connected to the businesses you check. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use the tool so we can improve it. GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We also use PostHog, a product analytics service, to see how the checker is used and to measure page speed.

PostHog records the pages you visit, the links and buttons you click (with their labels, and where on the page you clicked), how fast pages load, and errors in our code. For each check it receives counts only, such as how many listings matched and how many didn’t, along with the check’s random ID, so we can match them to our check log. It never receives what you type into the checker or the business and listing details the checker shows: we keep the search fields, the matches we suggest, and the results out of PostHog. PostHog does not record your screen. It uses your IP address only to estimate your country and city, then discards it.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies through our analytics tools. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device (primarily _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. PostHog sets a first-party cookie (ph_*_posthog) and uses your browser's local storage to tell repeat visits apart. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by disabling cookies in your browser settings. Content blockers that block analytics also stop PostHog.

Data Retention

Check logs (business name, location, website domain, timestamp, browser and device type, referrer, the high-level result metadata described above, and any rating or comment you leave) are retained for usage monitoring purposes. We do not store the listing details returned by the directories. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention periods.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we collect minimal personal data and do not require accounts, there is typically no personal data to manage. If you have questions, contact us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

NAPCHKR is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
